Moments of Wander Collection
"Moments of Wander’ is all about my admiration for the diverse beauty of the world around us," Müller explains. "The collection of three fabrics is like taking a stroll through nature, zooming in and out to see the scenery through different lenses. It brings the essence of the outdoors to fabrics that are tough enough to take on the elements, yet feel right at home indoors.” - Christiane Müller
Fields of Velvet
A woven indoor/outdoor velvet with a loop and cut pile, Fields of Velvet features five colorways that capture the essence of outdoor experiences, like lying on the ground while looking up at the trees or walking through soft moss on the forest floor.
Seeds of Colour
Borrowing from nature’s palette – flowers, grasses, trees, and herbs – the design uses various shades, represented by thread colors carefully chosen by Müller in its warp and weft, allowing for the creation of new, never before seen tones. Sunflower, Jasmine, Dahlia, and Primrose (Seeds of Colour names) are inspired by flower-filled meadows and gardens designed by landscape and garden architect Piet Oudolf, a very inspirational figure of Müller.
Trails of Tweed
The earth’s surface is made up of a myriad of colors and materials, something Trails of Tweed aims to capture through its diversity. “It recalls my wanderings through the volcanic mountains of Lanzarote, the deserts of Maroc and Mali, and the canyons of the national parks in America, discovering different shades of oxidized stones, rocks, and pebbles,” Müller shares
Memorable Collection
Mary Jo Miller's latest collection, Memorable, is an evocative finale that transcends mere fabric, weaving a tapestry of reunion, connection, and introspection – recurring themes throughout Miller's design trilogy.
Daydreamer
The concept of Daydreamer highlights our tendency to find familiar shapes in random stimuli. How we interpret weather radar maps, peeling bark, tree canopies, and cherry blossoms, reveals the fascinating ability to go beyond the literal and engage in imaginative elaboration. This capacity for spontaneous image formation serves as a significant source of inspiration for this pattern.
Hefty Herringbone
The textural vocabulary embodied by the Hefty Herringbone pattern resonates deeply with one’s aesthetic sensibilities. The interplay of light and shadow within the interwoven chenille strands evokes a sense of tactile intrigue. When upholstered on furniture upholstery, this quality achieves a remarkable equilibrium - exuding a relaxed, well-worn character, yet demonstrably maintains its functional integrity.
Glovely
The "Glovely" leather aptly lives up to its name. Its surface exhibits a luxurious, matte finish reminiscent of a well-made glove. This uber supple quality translates into exceptional tailoring capabilities, ideal for the contoured forms of swivel-tilt executive chairs.
Deep Connections
"Creating surface texture is part of our DNA and coupling that with patterning, which is at times organic or structured, gives us additional dimensional character. We love playing light and shade against one another through color pops and dark moody hues, with waves of depth occurring simultaneously.” - Mary Jo Miller
Agate Stripe
Agate Stripe was inspired by the fascinating layering of stripes found in an agate stone. The pattern is woven as a cut and uncut velvet epingle construction to give the design a luxe texture. Enhanced by deep shades juxtaposed with intense thin hues for maximum definition and striking visual impact with a multi-dimensional feel.
Tessellations
Tessellations are composed of intricate patterns found in nature with repeating shapes and no overlaps or gaps. Our Tessellations design employs a carefully selected, multi-colored effect with hues that range from dark shades to pastel to white for optimum spatial depth and contrast. A deeper look reveals a mesmerizing sheen and harmonious kaleidoscope of shapes and colors that’s dynamic and visually captivating.
Moody Moss
Moody Moss is a textural fabric with a pin curled surface that portrays the density of a moss carpeted forest. Beautifully tactile with an earthy palette of 12 colorways, Moody Moss is also a visual delight when upholstered on HBF classic lounge pieces.
