The pattern’s construction appears smooth from afar but reveals rich tonal variations and textures up close. "I wanted this fabric to feel rooted in nature, to bring that sense of grounding into the built environment," says Barry. "It’s about translating what I see and feel outdoors into a form that holds its own in any interior setting.”

“Ground Cover” offers a soft touch with high-performance acrylic attributes, designed to withstand rigorous use without sacrificing style or comfort. Its bleach-cleanable, outdoor-approved composition makes it an ideal choice for interiors where durability, ease of maintenance, and aesthetics are paramount.
In addition, the KUBI collection also introduces an exclusive painted finish, Agave Green, specially developed by Barry to harmonize with existing standard finishes. “Green is my go-to color, inspired by the nature that surrounds me and that I interact with daily. For this collection, HBF crafted this unique finish so that the fabric and form could read as one, monolithic and seamless,” Barry explains of this signature hue. This launch coincides with “Ground Cover,” which includes nine earth-inspired colorways, two of them green, bringing Barry’s love for nature into interior settings in a seamless, elemental way.
