HBF Textiles Shines at BDNY 2024 With Award-Winning Collections
BDNY 2024 (Nov 11–12) at the Javits Center was one for the books! As one of the hospitality design industry’s most anticipated events, Boutique Design New York (BDNY) brings together designers, architects, and manufacturers for two days of high-energy networking and inspiration. This year, HBF Textiles had the honor of debuting the latest Moments of Wander collection with HBF furniture to compliment, exhibiting with the boutique and lifestyle design community for the first time—and walked away with two major awards to show for it.
Our Moments of Wander collection, created in collaboration with Christiane Müller of MüllerVanTol, won the Best of BDNY Award in the Fabrics Category. Featuring three stunning patterns—Fields of Velvet, Trails of Tweed, and Seeds of Colour—this collection was inspired by Müller's travels and her deep connection to the natural world. These indoor/outdoor textiles brought a touch of serenity and sophistication to interior spaces, effortlessly blending durability with luxury. The collection, also a Best of Year nominee, builds on Müller's NeoCon Gold-winning collections, cementing her reputation as a true design visionary.
Adding to the excitement, Bao by ALA Studio took home the Best Seating Award from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). With its perfect mix of clean, visionary design and comfort, this collection made a lasting impression on everyone who experienced it.
