The Summer 2021 Collection features reinvented favorites around sustainability, performance, refreshed palettes, and an expansion of our faux leather offerings in denim resistant polyurethanes. We are especially excited as we have partnered with a major North American mill to launch one of the first contract upholsteries that are biodegradable* upon entering a landfill. Thinking about end use first brought us to this new technology which starts to make an impact, as we strive to reduce our imprint on the world. In addition, we continue to launch fabrics made with high post-consumer recycled polyester content and PVC free coated fabrics that are Fire Retardant (FR) free, Anti-microbial free, REACH 175 compliant, and are easy to clean.

Rate and extent of biodegradation into elements found in nature is 91% after 1,278 days under ASTM D5511 (Anaerobic Biodegradation of Plastic Materials Under High Solids Anaerobic Digestion Conditions). The test was done with the same component (PET) polyester and biocatalyst additive. No evidence of further degradation.
